- have photo c1942. Available maps don't show fire station but building outline matches photo. Maps previous to WW2 show fire station on Watling Street Road, which is opposite site of road junction. This building later used as Withy Trees Service Station

- This was built as a Withy Trees garage taken over by the AFS 1939 and used by the NFS until they moved up the road into Broughton. Fulwood UDC fire station was a single bay structure on the opposite side of the road where the Council Offices were, its now an Italian restaurant. |
